"Whoo-hooooo"

I just read my last post.... Graduation is 25 days away?! A new post is necessary. :)

So, lets just go through the highlights of my life so far...

I got accepted to St. Louis Christian College, and it looks like that's where I'll be attending school starting in the fall. :D YAAAAAAAAAAAY!

GRADUATION PARTY!! SATURDAY! With most of my friends and family! It's going to be amazing and I have been looking forward to it for an entire year! Well, actually, ever since I started high school, so 4 years, but this party has been in the planning process for a year... ;)

I just so happen to babysit for the sweetest bunch of boys ever, and every single time I go over there they make me laugh so hard I think I'll die. ;) They're so precious to me and if I go too long without seeing them I start to hardcore miss them, (like my nieces and nephews).

CHRISTY MILLER! Seriously, if you haven't read them, go to your local library and check them all out! Start with the Christy Miller paperback series, (yes, I know, childish and stupid, but you HAVE to get through them so you can read Christy Miller: The College Years, and they are SOOOO WORTH IT!) And then go to the College Years, I tried reading the College Years without the paperback series, and it just didn't work, I was so confused. Hmm, right now I'm just about to start paperback book #8 (there's 12 paperbacks and 3 College Years), and I want to be Christy Miller; I want to live in California, I want to have a Todd Spencer, I want to have "Killer eyes" and have perfect, nutmeg colored hair, but I don't want to work in a petstore....

I'm telling you, read the books. They changed my life. :)

P.S. the title of this post comes from "highlight #3". Evan, the 2 year old I babysit for, would say "whoo-hoo" whenever I told him we were going to do something (yes, with a little coaching from me). Example: "Ev, we're going to go inside and eat, [whoo-hoo] and then go to bed [whoo-hooooo]". Funniest part is that he just so happens to say it with ZERO emotion. HILARIOUS! Try to say "whoo-hoo" with no emotion in your voice, close to impossible, but this kid nailed it. ;)

  1. Whoo-hooo to going to college not too far from your big sister and niece!!!
I shouldn't tell you this, but Robin Jones Gunn has "waiting for my Todd" t-shirts and other "Christy" apparel on her site!
I'm not sure if I have read her college years. It's been awhile for the main series too. In the Sierra Jensen books, you get glimpses of Christy and friends.
(You didn't add that you wanted a rich aunt to live on the beach and you could visit her the WHOLE summer).
