So I just got back from a weekend adventure with Michelle and Stacia! IT WAS SOOO FUN! And so good to see Anna! Man, I miss that girl during the school year! Well, I guess I'll start at the beginning. Me and Michelle wanted to go see Anna in January, and we decided to bring Stacia as a surprise to Anna! So fun right?! I was really excited to surprise her, but not as excited as Anna was when she found out, it was priceless. My mouth still hurts from smiling!
We had an interesting time getting up there. One of the perks of living in Chicago is the unexpectable weather... (also, the law-abiding governors), ::major sarcasm::. So when we heard that a snowstorm was supposed to hit I-90 at 3 a.m., we decided to go before it... (as all logical thinkers would do). So it was now a through-the-night roadtrip, the best kind there is! Stacia ended up driving the WHOLE way up there, because our drivers licenses' expire after midnight... stupid rule... so I felt SO BAD FOR HER!!!!!!!! But, I think seeing Anna was worth it for her.
When we got to Bethel, it was about 6:15 in the morning... and we definitely didn't want to wake Anna up, we would have felt so bad! So we decided to just chill out and hang out in the van. :) But then, Stacia (who was on 22 hours with no sleep) decided we should just drive around and see if we can find Anna's car... hah.... but what else do we have to do?? So we did. :) And..... MIRACLE OF MIRACLES.... we FOUND ANNA'S CAR! It was definitely a team effort. Michelle saw a sign with the list of all the dorms and apartments and out of about 7 of them she said "Oh, North Village, that sounds like a happy place and definitely somewhere she would live". So that's where we went. All of a sudden Stae throws it in reverse and says to us "I think this is North Village"... (it was) and pulls into this parking lot, where, I found Jimmy :) Crazy right?! When Anna called at 7:20 she was like "Hiii! Where are you?" and I was like "umm,, right next to your car!" HAHA! And then the big surprise happened, it was magical. We had go-codes and roles to play, awesome! When I said "Michelle, did you bring the surprise?" Stacia (who was hiding in the back seat) would pop her head up! HAHA!
Oh yes, so it was a great and wonderful and amazing weekend that I so badly needed! I love my cousins dearly! I'll post pictures soon, I could not be more tired... which is why this is so poorly written. Well actually, that's a combo platter of tiredness and I-really-just-don't-care-ness. :P Better work on that....... C.O.D. starts Friday!!!!!!!! :P
COD starts Thursday not Friday. And looking for Anna's car was my idea, and it started off being a joke! :)
ReplyDeleteP.S. you make me laugh.
